Plan around your actual routine
Begin with sleeping arrangements, room for visitors, storage and the length of your stays. An apartment with a generous terrace may suit holidays, while a family spending several months in Tivat may give greater weight to internal space, laundry facilities and a quiet room for work or study.
Walk the routes
Check access from the garage to the apartment, lift arrangements and the route to daily shopping. Visit the surrounding streets as well as the waterfront. If schooling is part of the decision, speak directly with the schools about current programmes, admissions and places before making a commitment.
Ask about shared facilities
Pool access, guest policies and building services vary. Clarify which facilities are included, any additional charges and the rules that apply to children and visitors. A residence described as serviced still requires a review of its specific ownership arrangements.
Make the viewing useful
